As a person who has collected many things in his life, I have quite a bit of stuff stashed in the nooks and crannies of my home (much to my wife’s chagrin).
Amid the assortment of collected comic books, baseball cards and random childhood mementos is a fairly large collection of vintage magazines dating from the 1960’s through the 1990’s.
While flipping through some of these old-school mags, I couldn’t help but notice all the different vintage car ads. Really cool car ads mind you. Especially the stuff from the 60’s and 70’s.
Not wanting to keep all this content to myself, I started carefully scanning some of these ads to share with you.
So each week on #ThrowbackThursday I’ll be sharing a new vintage car magazine ad so you get the chance to appreciate them like I do.
The first in this ongoing series is a colorful ad for the 1974 Jeep Renegade CJ-5. Check it out….

The 2015 Jeep Renegade
Making a highly anticipated appearance at the North American International Auto Show will be the 2015 Jeep Renegade.
This new Renegade was unveiled to the world at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, and Jeep enthusiasts haven’t stopped talking about it since.
You’ll be able to see, touch and feel the all-new Renegade at the Detroit Auto Show this January and expect it to hit the LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram showroom in early 2015.
Are you a Jeep fanatic? What do you think about the 1974 Jeep Renegade compared to it’s 2015 younger sibling?
