Now that you’ve watched these awesome videos let’s dive into what makes the Bronco so off-road worthy and distinct over the competition.
Let’s start with the off-road features. The Bronco features an exclusive Terrain Management System™ with G.O.A.T. Modes™ which will help you navigate over all types of terrain. There are seven selectable modes including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Baja, Mud/Ruts, and Rock Crawl!
The Bronco also offers two different 4×4 systems – a base two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case, and an optional advanced system that features a two-speed electromechanical transfer case with an auto mode for on-demand engagement to select between 2H and 4H! Power is distributed to a Dana™ 44 AdvanTEK® solid rear axle and Dana AdvanTEK independent front differential unit – both with available Spicer® Performa-TraK™ electronic locking differentials for improved traction over rough terrain in models equipped for higher capability.
If you are lucky enough to be getting a Bronco equipped with the Sasquatch™ Package both the two-door and four-door configurations boast impressive off-road attributes. The two-door; sports a 43.2-degree approach angle, class-leading 11.6-inch maximum ground clearance, 29-degree breakover angle, and a generous 37.2-degree departure angle.
