Archives For Hyundai

What do Bob Dylan, The Muppets, Morepheus and Leonard Hofstadter all have in common?

Each starred in a car related Super Bowl XLVIII commercial that helped keep us entertained during a less-than memorable Big Game (unless you’re a Seattle Seahawks fan that is).

The automakers pulled out all the stops with their commercials this year to keep us amused when the game itself couldn’t – and I took the initiative to compile all the car related commercials from Super Bowl XLVIII right here for your viewing enjoyment.

Hyundai of Lansing unexpectedly closed their doors today leaving hundreds of Michigan customers without a Hyundai Dealership to fulfill their needs.

We aren’t sure what happened to Hyundai of Lansing prompting the dealership to abruptly close. Their owner, Sherrill Freeborough, did leave a recorded message on the dealership’s main telephone line thanking her customers for their business and suggesting you locate another Hyundai Dealership for your future needs.

The team at LaFontaine Hyundai wants to extend a warm welcome to any Hyundai of Lansing customer who needs a dealership to call home.

Hyundai, known for always keeping their customers best interests in mind, just announced two new programs to assist furloughed federal employees.

Hyundai has modified it’s Assurance Program so that furloughed federal workers who are current Hyundai owners will be provided relief from their lease or purchase payments for as long as they are out of work.

Hyundai Assurance Furloughed Federal Employees

Hyundai has the back of furloughed federal employees

“We recognize the impact on family budgets that the furlough will drive,” said John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. “Like we did almost four years ago when we launched Hyundai Assurance, this is our way of saying ‘We’ve got your back’ during this uncertain time.”

The second program Hyundai introduced is a plan which allows furloughed federal employees who wish to buy a car in October the option to defer their payments for 90 days.

There are thousands of federal workers here in Michigan who will not get paid during the government shutdown. The team at LaFontaine Hyundai in Dearborn is committed to helping any furloughed federal employee who needs assistance with these new programs.
