Hyundai takes the next step in the industry by launching digital showroom on Amazon. In August of 2016 Amazon unveiled its automotive research site standing as a competitor such as Cars.com and Autotrader. Hyundai saw the opportunity and jumped on board in hopes of separating itself from other manufacturers by working of off the Amazon platform with its own showroom that provides a portal to schedule test drives, a pricing calculator, inventory listings, and dealership locator on Hyundaiusa.com. Hyundai also is one of the first automakers to connect cars with homes using Amazon Echo and Blue Link skill for Amazon Alexa. The car industry is changing and Hyundai is making moves to stay ahead of their competition.
Within the showroom there are also informational videos on Hyundai’s Shopper Assurance program that seeks to add convenience to the shopping process.
