Honda’s all-new 2015 Honda Fit was showcased at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Honda’s engineers and designers successfully collaborated and came up with a subcompact model that won the audience’s attention by storm.

So what’s new for the 2015 Fit? For the most part, the Fit retained its small size with minor tweaks in the height and width. The wheelbase was increased in length to improve functionality. It also comes with a more upscale interior featuring premium materials and some of the latest auto technologies in the market.

More About the Fit’s Interior

One of the 2015 Fit’s highlights is an interior that is roomy, user-centric and luxurious.

  • Roomy: Whether you require space to accommodate your big family or simply to store your bicycle, the Fit’s interior will do the job. The rear cargo area and Honda’s versatile Magic Seat® can be rearranged in four ways to accommodate extra valuables. Expect to experience a comfortable ride with Honda’s increased passenger volume and increased legroom.
  • User-centric: Notable features include Bluetooth® connectivity and a 7-inch Display Audio1 touchscreen interface with HondaLink™ smartphone connectivity.
  • Luxurious: Leather-trimmed seating and high-quality, soft-touch materials give the interior a luxurious sports-car feel.

The Exterior of the Fit

The exterior is the epitome of a modern and sleek automotive design. A longer wheelbase and shorter frame work side-by-side to enhance the Fit’s aerodynamic profile. Additional exterior features such as the new fascia and grille, combined with the 16-inch tires with a 5-spoke wheel design show the Fit’s sportier side.

Honda Fit Performance

The Fit’s new lightweight engine comes with a stronger horsepower for improved fuel efficiency. And, Honda’s lightweight steel gives the exterior a stronger frame without increasing the vehicle’s weight. The new model is an estimated 57 pounds lighter than the previous model. Plus, less pressure on the engine maximizes the vehicle’s torque.
