LaFontaine Automotive Group is honored to announced that two of its dealerships, LaFontaine Ford of Birch Run and LaFontaine Subaru were named to the prestigious list of the 2020 Automotive News Best Dealerships to Work For. This is the first time LaFontaine Ford of Birch Run was named to this list and the second LaFontaine Subaru has been recognized, also being named in 2018.

This is the ninth year that Automotive News has partnered with Best Companies Group to identify dealerships in the U.S. that have excelled in creating great places to work. The program measures workplace satisfaction, talent retention and excellent care of employees through a confidential survey of employers and employees.
The survey consisted of two parts:
- Part I – Employer Benefits & Policies Questionnaire: The employer completes an online survey, detailing dealership policies, practices, benefits and demographics.
- Part II – Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey: Employees complete an online survey of in-depth statements using a scale of 5 points ranging from “Agree Strongly” to “Disagree Strongly.”
The results are analyzed and categorized according to 8 core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communication, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training, Development and Resources, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement.
