May 1, 2021 marked the 41st anniversary of the Family Deal! Back in 1980, Mike and Maureen LaFontaine founded LaFontaine Automotive Group with a Toyota store in Dearborn. Since then we have poured our hearts into the local community and passion for delivering an unmatched experience for our guests. Whether that be sales, parts or service, we have committed to an experience that delivers trust and convenience – that’s the Family Deal!
As we have grown from the one store in Dearborn to now being blessed with 22 retail locations, and through this growth, we have committed to our employees and customers, that we would not lose our way. We’d stay focused on the things that have differentiated us from the competition, garnered us national recognition and lifted up our local communities.
Our LaFontaine Family has grown to now over 1,700 employees, allowing us to not only serve more customers, but provide greater support to the communities in which we do business.
The LaFontaine commitment to customers, staff, and local communities is demonstrated by active participation and contributions to numerous non-profit organizations, educational institutions and charities throughout southeast Michigan.
We encourage our employees to become involved in their community, volunteering and working with organizations striving to make a positive impact. Being a strong community supporter and partner has been a cornerstone of LaFontaine Automotive Group and something our co-founder, Maureen LaFontaine instilled in us all.
