LaFontaine Chevrolet of Dexter Honored with Two Prestigious Awards from General Motors

October 29, 2018 by LaFontaine Automotive Group

This past week, LaFontaine Chevrolet of Dexter received the Chevrolet Mark of Excellence along with the Women’s Retail Network Premier Dealer award.

Maureen, Michael, Ryan and Kelley LaFontaine were in Dexter to receive the honors from General Motors.  Maureen LaFontaine received the Women’s in Retail Network Premier Dealer award.

“These awards are a true testament to the amazing and dedicated team here in Dexter,” said Maureen. “Shadrick Bennett (General Manager, LaFontaine Dexter) and everyone that makes up the LaFontaine Dexter family deserve recognition for without them, these honors would not be possible.”

The GM Mark of Excellence Award is an accomplishment reserved for only a select few outstanding Chevrolet dealerships and is a symbol of extraordinary performance in sales and customer satisfaction excellence. For a dealer to be considered for the GM Mark of Excellence Award they must have achieved a year over year sales increase and excellent reviews from customer satisfaction surveys for vehicle purchases and service department visits to qualify for this esteemed award.

Each year General Motor’s Women in Retain Network recognizes two dealers per region. The criteria is based on overall Dealer Performance Summary (DPS) score which is based on a dealer’s sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction index, capitalization and profit. The two awards per region were one for highest DPS with retail sales greater than 350 units and one for DPS with retail sales less than 350 units. LaFontaine Chevrolet of Dexter was awarded for the highest DPS score in the North Central Region with retail sales greater than 350 units.
