Birch Run, MI – December 4, 2016 – LaFontaine Automotive Group is pleased to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art Ford facility in Birch Run. The new facility, is located on 19 acres along I-75, between Shiawassee Harley Davidson and the Birch Run Expo Center.
The community has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the LaFontaine Ford Birch Run dealership. The 34,000 square foot building is aspiring to be a Silver or Gold rated Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) facility, complimenting their existing Gold LEED Cadillac/Buick/GMC location in Highland, as well as their Silver LEED Chevrolet in Dexter and Volkswagen of Dearborn locations.
LEED is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. To receive LEED certification, building projects satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification.
