Now in its third year of supporting Washtenaw County’s “Teacher of the Year” program, LaFontaine Automotive Group is proud to recognize teachers going above and beyond to make a positive impact on the lives of their students.
Today, LaFontaine awarded Teacher of the Year, Chip Bennett, from Perry Elementary School in Ypsilanti with a two-year lease of a Chevrolet Equinox!
Jessica Goerlitz from Bishop Elementary School in Ypsilanti was named Most Distinguished Teacher of the Year, and LaFontaine awarded her $1,000 towards classroom supplies. In addition, Cassandra Korinek from Anchor Elementary School was named the Most Commendable Teacher of the Year, and LaFontaine awarded her $500 towards classroom supplies.
