LaFontaine is happy to announce that they will be hosting the 4th Annual Last Day Dog Rescue Adoption Drive event at its Subaru location in Commerce Township, MI on Saturday, August 26th from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Also on site, The Mean weenie hot dog food truck will be making a debut from 12:00-1:30 PM and Arrfscarf dog ice cream! Come out and meet furry friends who are looking for their forever home from Last Day Dog Rescue.
During the month of August leading up to the event, we are promoting “Stuff A Subaru.” We are accepting donations to “Stuff a Subaru” with dog and cat food, collars, leashes, and toys. Everything that is donated will be given to Last Day Dog Rescue. Also during the family friendly adoption event, attendees are also encouraged to bring a donation of pet food and supplies to help “stuff” the Subaru.
Last Day Dog Rescue (a.k.a LDDR) is a Livonia, Michigan based, 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to rescuing at-risk, urgent cases from local (and often high-kill) animal shelters. Since 2006, LDDR has changed thousands of lives by living up to its simple mission to “Save Lives.” LDDR is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who provide everything from shelter to food to promotion with the end-goal of achieving an adoption rate of 100% for every animal on the roster.
