Subaru continues to up their game in the automotive sector by focusing on what attracts customers, not just the product but LOVE. Love. It’s What Makes a Subaru a Subaru. Their campaign around love is like no other, “Subaru Love Promise”. They believe in making the world a better place and that is what the campaign is all about. Subaru pledges to do right by the communities in which we all live and work in. Over the past 20 years more than $50 million donated to causes we all care about and Subaru employees have logged more than 28,000 volunteer hours! Who doesn’t love a brand that aims to spread the love promise as far as possible.
To continue the “Subaru Love Promise” Subaru believes in sharing the love with causes that are important to our entire community! The Subaru Share the Love Event of 2017 was a complete success! The event ran through November 16, 2017, through January 2, 2018. Subaru donated $250 for each new Subaru vehicles sold or leased. Donations go to the customer’s choice of one of four national charities or participating retailers’ select Hometown Charities. We were fortunate enough to have our Hometown Charity U CAN-CER VIVE be a customer’s choice when they purchased a new or leased vehicle from LaFontaine Subaru in Commerce! The Share The Love event raised over $38,000 for U CAN-CER VIVE.
U CAN-CER VIVE provides vital funding and support for local cancer research grants. Upon becoming an official nonprofit foundation in February 2016, U CAN-CER VIVE has raised over $600,000, providing funds for five research grants that are currently active in the State of Michigan.
