I don’t think I’m alone when I say that Fall is my favorite season in Michigan. The leaves turn spectacular colors, the cider mills are bustling with activity and the pigskin begins to get tossed around in earnest.

But with the kids going back to school and our lives in general getting busier after a relaxed summer, you can miss what makes autumn in Michigan special if you’re not careful.

Every year after I draft my fantasy football team I sit back and say to myself “yep, this year is my year!”.

And what’s not to feel good about? I did my research, I feel confident in my picks and the draft website projects me to finish towards the top of the league so It should be a breeze making it into playoffs.

Four years ago a tradition was started at LaFontaine Cadillac Buick GMC with an event that we now call the LaFontaine Family Fun Fest.

Local residents and the families of our employees were invited in to the dealership to enjoy a safe and fun alternative to Halloween trick-or-treating.

Each year since, the Fun Fest has been an event that we all look forward to.

If you are doing any last minute pumpkin carving, why not have a little fun with one of these 10 Chevrolet Themed Halloween Pumpkin Stencils!

With patterns for the Chevy Volt, Camaro, SIlverado and more, this is a fun way to dress up your jack-o-lantern for Halloween.

Here’s how you use these Halloween stencils with your pumpkin:

1. Cut a circle through the stem end or bottom of the pumpkin for your cap.
2. Use a large spoon to scoop out the seeds and pulp.
3. Trim pattern along dotted line. Crease lines and tape onto pumpkin. Make sure pattern is flat against the surface.
4. Trace design by poking holes with a sharp awl or needle tool then remove pattern.
5. Cut along the dotted line of your pattern. Push the cut-out, dark gray features gently from the inside of the pumpkin.
6. Place a candle or LED light inside the pumpkin to create an eerie glow.
