As we wrap up another week here at LaFontaine Chevrolet in Dexter, Michigan, let’s take a look back at the week that was.
The Corvette Stingray Arrives
This week was very exciting for quite a few reasons. First and foremost, the highly anticipated 2014 Corvette Stingray finally arrived at our dealership. The car-carrying truck showed up on Thursday to drop off the new Corvette’s to much rejoicing.
A Stingray Birthday
Needless to say, it didn’t take long for the first Corvette Stingray to find a caring and loving new owner. Our own Andrew Hatch helped Jon Lock purchase this Cyber Gray, Corvette Stingray 2LT.
“John originally came in a few months ago looking to order a Crystal Red 3LT, but when this bad boy arrived yesterday, I gave him a call and encouraged him to come take a look at it”, says Sales Pro, Andrew Hatch.
He continues, “Jon and his wife came in to look and get a feel for the new ‘Vette, and after thinking about the options for a little bit, Jon ultimately decided that this was the vehicle for him”.
It turns out Jon has done something that many of us can only dream of doing: buying ourselves an amazing new car for our Birthday!
Andrew personally wished Jon a Happy Birthday and added with a big grin, “I’m jealous!”.

Our Team Has A New King
We also want to welcome Sara King, our new Business Development Manager, to the LaFontaine Chevrolet team! Sara brings five years of experience with her to our Business Development Center, and is settling in nicely with the crew here in Dexter.
I asked Sara a few questions so we could all get to know here a bit better.
Who is your favorite Musician of all-time? “Alicia Keys, without a doubt!”
What’s something no one would ever guess about you? “That I love diesel engines. The sound, the smell. They always evoke very pleasant memories of my Dad who was a truck driver”.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? “One word…Pasta!”.
What’s your guilty pleasure? “My Mobile Smart Devices. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, it’s easy for me to get lost in the articles, videos and music that are waiting within.”
