Need a boost in motivation to eat healthier and get in shape? There’s an app for that!
Actually, there are a lot of apps for that. I’m talking hundreds of them.
Each is meant to help keep you fit and healthy – but who has the time to search for, install and try out a bunch of different apps?
The last thing I want you doing is making an excuse that the sheer amount of apps to sort through is too overwhelming.
So let me do some of the work for you. Here are 4 of my favorite apps that help keep me in shape and eating healthy. They can do the same for you too!
With 3 different types of Pacts – gym pact, veggie pact, food logging pact – these trackers help you to stay in shape, eat more veggies, and log your meals.
Set a weekly workout and/or health goal. Then set what you will pay to other Pact members if you don’t reach it. Meet your goals and earn money from other Pact members who didn’t! It is as easy as that!
My Fitness Pal
One of my personal favorite apps, My Fitness Pal is a calorie counter that also syncs with the Pact app!
Set a daily calorie goal and record your daily food and exercise to make sure you stay on track.
If you’re like me an get a little bored on your cardio workout, this amusing app works anywhere and at any speed.
It immerses you with an action-packed game and story mixed with your own music, whether you’re jogging in a park, running along a trail, walking to work, or even running on treadmills.
7 Minute Workout Challenge
Just couldn’t make it to the gym? This app is perfect to do while watching TV!
With 12 high intensity bodyweight exercises. 30 seconds per exercise, 10 seconds rest between exercises, the app outlines all of the excersices in the workout as well as with text and video descriptions of each exercise.
My favorite part is that there is voice prompting for each step so you don’t need to look at the phone!
